Entergy Texas customers will see $28 decrease in electric bill
In March 2009, Entergy Texas, Inc. customer utility bills will have a new, lower price for fuel. lower price is due to a decrease in fuel costs since this particular charge was last set in September 2008.
As a result of this reduced fuel charge, the average total electric bill will drop to about $104 from the current $132. The Public Utility Commission of Texas has agreed to this new formula and fuel charge that Entergy Texas uses to decide the fuel factor. So relief will be coming to Texas utility bills.
