Idaho Power offers free weatherization conservation resources and improvements to electrically heated homes of income-qualified customers. The primary goal of weatherization is to install energy efficiency measures to help people improve the comfort of their home and reduce energy consumption.

There are two primary residential weatherization programs that are currently available to low income Idaho Power customers. A focus is on seniors and the elderly, and people who are most at risk. Aid is focused on those whose homes are heated with electricity, the Weatherization Assistance Program and the Weatherization Solutions Program. Income qualifications are slightly different depending on what component is applied for, so please keep in mind that customers who don't qualify for the first program may be eligible for the second one.
